3 Reasons a Bathroom Ceiling Heater Makes Sense

If you’ve been putting off buying and installing a bathroom ceiling heater for reasons of economy, I have three good reasons why you might want to reconsider. The bottom line is that the money that you spend on your heater is not simply gone as it would be if you spent it on inexpensive dinner or the like. You’ll enjoy it every day when the temperatures start to drop, and it may very well pay for itself in the long run anyway.

How can it pay for itself? You won’t spend money on your ceiling heater, you will invest in it. If you ever decide to sell your house it will be one of the features that you can point to that literally raises the value of your home by some incremental amount. After all, the buyer is going to enjoy this bathroom heater as well, and know that they’ll have fewer problems with mildew, etc., because of it. It will be something else on which they do not have to spend their own money. Don’t think that this is trivial to a new buyer.

Another big reason to take the plunge here is safety. Install a a bathroom ceiling heater up and away from children, pets and even yourself when you are groggy in the morning, and in this way you are protected from the incidents that you will no doubt have over the years with something like a space heater. In addition to being generally inefficient for heating, space heaters get very hot and are frequently placed in an awkward part of your bathroom.

Probably the best reason of all to install a heater in your bathroom ceiling is the comfort that you and your family will enjoy because of it for years to come. Spending a few hundred dollars buying and installing the heater is really very little money if you look at it in terms of years or even decades worth of enjoyment. You have to have air circulation in your bathroom to combat mold and mildew growing on wet surfaces. Don’t you deserve a little help against that cool morning air?
