It is well known that the makeup industry is big and booming. There are a great many cosmetic brands to choose from. The price you will pay, well that all depends on the brand name. You would be amazed at the differences in price on various types of cosmetics. It may be tempting at times to save your money and buy a cheaper brand of makeup, this may not be such a good idea. Some lower quality hair dyes, especially darker colors, have recently been found to contain chemicals that could increase the chance of developing certain types of lymphoma. These chemicals, or carcinogens, can be extremely harmful and should be avoided at all costs.
Quite a few cheaper skin creams are suspected of containing chemicals that could be harmful to humans. Toxic skin creams are especially dangerous because they work by being absorbed directly into your skin. Cheaper skin creams have been found to drastically effect hormonal levels, this leads to sporadic mood swings, this hold even more true in teenagers.
Cheap body powder have been known to contain carcinogens that could possibly lead to certain types of skin cancer.
The point of wearing sunscreen is protect your skin from the suns powerful rays. We all know that overexposure to the sun can lead to sunburn and even skin cancer but skimping on sunscreen is a bad idea. Certain sunscreens are known to cause some mild cellular damage and release free radicals into the body. Free radicals are well known for causing many different types of diseases and cancers.
These are just a few examples of why you should by cheaply made cosmetics. The point of this article was not to scare you, but to open your eyes and make you aware that you should always know what your are putting into or onto your body. If you are merely looking to save money, try searching for free cosmetics in sample form, buying low quality cosmetics is not the answer.
