The Stamping Solutions Cricut Cartridge
The Stamping Solutions Cricut Cartridge by designer Kollette Hall was created for use in Cricut Personal Electronic Cutters, also by Provo Craft. It will work on both the Cricut Machine and the Cricut Expressions Machine and may also be used on the international models of these two devices.
The purpose of the Cricut (pronounced “cricket”) Electronic Cutter itself is to eliminate the need to cut out elaborate embellishments by hand for scrapbooks, greeting cards and any other paper craft projects. Using scissors, snipping out a row of intricate butterflies or fleur-de-lis could take up to 10 minutes, but the Cricut Machine takes only moments to cut out shapes and words, no matter how detailed they may be.
Cricut Cartridges will make cut-outs up to 5.5 inches wide and 11.5 inches long. When using the Cricut Expressions Machine, cut-outs can be twice the length as with the original machine, a full 23 inches. Each cartridge comes with its own built-in lighted keypad with easy to read symbols and lettering. Cricut Machines and Cartridges will work on Cricut stamp sheets, certain fabrics, vinyl and paper. In order for Cricut to offer a more affordable line of creative cartridges, they have manufactured the Solutions line to come without a box or booklet, and as well as with fewer features than a normal cartridge.
The Stamping Solutions Cartridge has several phrases to choose from, including “Thanks So Much” and “Who What When Where Why”. It also offers a variety of shapes, including an owl and a baby carriage. These shapes and words can be mixed and matched to create photo album captions, birth announcements, invitations and much more. Since the size and style can be changed, the Stamping Solutions Cricut Cartridge can even be used for making wallpaper borders and other home decor embellishments such as stencils and etched glass.
