Droid. Who ever thought they would want a droid. Outside of science fiction stories no one had even heard of a droid and now everyone wants one as they are the hottest thing in cell phone technology. The Android operating system is an advancement over the older previous cell phones and the fast response and features make the Droid the phone to have.
All the cell phones using the Android operating system also share another thing in common and that is touch screen technology. The iPhone popularized the touch screen and the Touch Flo technology soon spread to all the different brands. The Motorola Droid was released to great fanfare not long ago. But now has been surpassed by another even better Droid phone. It’s hard and expensive to keep up as the fancy smart phones command a higher price than non-touch screen phones. Owning these phones means adding a need accessory to keep them nice.
The most needed accessory is a screen protector or in this case a droid screen protector. Since most of the features of the phone involve sliding your finger across the screen instead of using a stylus it’s important to keep that screen looking as good as possible. Scratches and other marks may hinder the smooth operation of the phone and eventually drive you nuts if they make every function of the phone twice as hard to do.

The best time to install a screen protector is when the phone is brand new and just removed from its packaging. The screen should be clear from dust and fingerprints leaving nothing left to get stuck under the protector. Your protector should evenly cover the screen and not hang over to one side or the other. Take care to get it on straight as you’ll have to live with it for a while and securely fasten it in place. If bubbles develop underneath smooth them out with a credit card and you should be good to go.
