Sleeping bags are great and they have so many uses. People use them for camping, extra bedding to have for guests, bedding to take with you to stay at someone’s house and they use sleeping bags as an extra comforter on their bed in the winter. A down sleeping bag that needs to be warm down to -15 degrees is going to be quite a bit thicker – so you lose some portability but you will stay warm, which is also important and worth the extra weight.
