When choosing a decal it is best to know how to remove it in addition to placing it on any surface. Hopefully these tips will be useful. When removing the decal, the least expensive way is the best way. It will take some time to do but you can do it, very easily. Take a hair dryer when it is warm outside and heat the decal. Then, remove the decal very carefully. You do not want to damage the paint. A plastic picnic knife might be a good idea if you don’t have a plastic scraper – these can be used to remove the residue without damaging your paint.

After you have removed the decal, there is going to be some sticky residue left where the decal was. So get some lemon oil and apply it to the area where the residue is located.

You can also use Easy Off Oven cleaner to remove the decal and go over the left over adhesive with some W-D 40. Make sure, when you are finished removing the decal that you wax the surface, following the manufactures instructions, because it will look a little dull after the removal.
