If you suffer from allergies or just want to have cleaner air at home, then consider the benefits of an ionizer air cleaner.

I’ve had one for years now. I keep it in my bedroom and even though the door stays open most of the time, you can smell the difference when you go into that room. I figure that I spend 7-8 hours a day in there, so having clean air while sleep would be a good idea. It’s a pretty cool device, too. You can feel a small breeze coming out of it and there are no moving parts. It almost has like a clean, rain forest type smell. That’s the best I can describe it.

What it does is trap particles from the air using a small amount of electricity. You pull out a cartridge that has some metal blades on it and you can see how much dirt particles it really cleans from the air. To clean it, all you do is wipe it with a damp towel until it’s clean. You then let it dry before putting it back into the unit and turning it on again.

Has it made a difference? Well, it’s hard to say but it is nice coming into that room and taking a nice breath of clean air. When I clean it out, I can see what it removes, so I would say that it does make a difference. If you could do without extra particles in the air that you breath, consider choosing an ionizer air cleaner and small the difference.
