Menu Sleeves For Menu Protection

Written by Original Source | Posted in Business

Now a days, many small cafes and restaurants use menu sleeves to contain their menus. There are a couple reasons that they do this, one is so that nothing gets on the actual copy of the menu, the other reason is that in most cases, small cafes and restaurants have a changing or rotating menu.

With a small cafe, menus often change frequently due to what the owner feels like cooking. One day they may find an awesome recipe for a tomato bisque soup they want to try. If it doesn’t work, they can discard that menu without having to pay a ton of money to replace the entire thing. The next day, they may want to have a left over day to clean out the fridge, so they offer things that have been made during that week.

By using plastic menu sleeves, they can just slip the printed menu into the sheets of plastic and not have to worry about food getting on the printed copy of the menu, therefore, it can be reused when the owner or cook wants to make that item again. Although they are not the most attractive way to hold your menu, they can always be jazzed up by printing the menu on colored paper. By doing this, it attracts attention. If you have a lot of window seating in your cafe or restaurant, people may be drawn to brightly colored menus they can see through the windows. If there is a special holiday coming up, printing your menus on decorated paper, you are setting yourself apart from others by decorating for the holiday in a way that most other places have not thought of.

Paper can get spendy if you are always printing off copies every time you think of a new item or you don’t save the ones you already had. By using menu sleeves, you can preserve the copies you do have so that you won’t have to waste a bunch of paper.
