With the new school year starting it is time for students to try and raise money for class projects or sports teams to help show school spirit. One of the best moving fundraising products is a lanyard woven with the school colors and imprinted with the school mascot. Not only are they a fun way to show school spirit they are also a very useful item that fans and boosters can actually use as part of their daily lives. Lanyards have many uses and one of the best is as a key ring and key holder.

Neck Lanyards

Neck lanyards come in custom colors and can be purchased in bulk to lower the cost so selling them as class projects can really raise a significant amount of money in a short time. Lanyards also come in different styles and a new on this year is a fringe lanyard. They wide strap has a soft fringe all the way around and this one is sure to be a big seller among high school students. Everyone will want one and there will probably one hanging from all of the rear view mirrors from the cars in the parking lot.

Attachment hardware is the other part of a neck lanyard and there are as many ways to attach things to a lanyard as you can imagine. For a key lanyard a two part strap with a plastic clip that the keys hang from is a good choice as you can unclip the keys from the rest of the lanyard, use them and then re-attach until using them later. Other choices are a snap hook on a swivel and again they are very easy to put things on and off and come in different sizes, so you can fit a lot of keys on there if you need to.

You can even find different types of lanyards that go around your neck for a badge, cell phone or iPhone. These can also be sold as a school fundraising project.
