The bedroom is a place for you to rest and relax after a long day of work and routine. It is your sanctuary and your refuge from the rest of the world. Thus it is important to have a comfortable and an attractive looking bedroom for you to retire in at the end of every day. One way to make your bedroom look really warm, cozy and inviting is to use an orange rug.

Orange rugs are great for the bedroom as they can make the room look bold and attractive during the day, and turn into a cozy and warm room at night. Thus using orange rugs in the bedroom is a plus. If you’re not sure how to use this colored floor rugs in your bedroom, here are a few suggestions.

A bold fiery orange rug may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you want a rug for the bedroom. However this color when paired with dark brown makes the room immediately more warm, cozy and intimate. So if you have dark wood furniture in your bedroom, opt for this shade for your rug.

For a more homely yet luxuriously serene look to your bedroom, think about soft shades of orange for your rug, such as apricot and peach. An opulent silk Persian rug in this color combination will look great in the bedroom. Pair it with silk peach sheets on your bed and soft apricot drapes on your windows and you will have a plush bedroom to retire in every night.

For a more modern look to the bedroom, pick blue, which is the complementary color to orange. A bright orange wool rug will look resplendent when paired with teal accents. Use teal scatter cushions on your bed and place a soft teal lampshade on your nightstand. The result will be a contemporary look that is still homely and inviting.

If you want your bedroom to look more feminine yet fun, pair a tangerine accent rug with hot pink. A bright hot pink throw will look great, and so will a hot pink quilt on your bed. Orange and pink go well hand in hand, so you can do the same with tangerine and soft pink.

Placing an orange rug in your bedroom need not be difficult. You just need the right shade of orange paired with great complementary colors and you will have a fantastic looking bedroom.
