Good mattresses are an important investment. I remember when my husband and I were going out shopping to furnish our first home, my father-in-law gave us a nice little cash gift to help us finance the whole thing. “I want you to use this for a mattress,” he said. “No matter how fancy your furniture is, a good, quality mattress is important. You’re going to be sleeping on it every night for years to come. You want it to be good, and you want it to last.”

Very true words. But if you don’t have a caring dad handing you an envelope to help you buy your new mattress, how can you make sure to get good quality at a price you can afford. You’ll have to skip on the major brands, or at least their higher quality models. But that doesn’t mean that you need to get a mattress that won’t last more than a few years, or that won’t give you the comfort and support that you need for a good night’s sleep. There are many lesser known brands on the market that make good quality mattress for much lower prices.

Kingsdown and Restonic are two of these brands. You might not hear about them from your local dealer, as he’s trying to get you to pay more, but if you look online, you can gather some good information from the Restonic and Kingsdown mattress reviews.

When reading the reviews, take note of the model number and mattress type, if these details are given. While the overall reviews for these companies are positive, every company has some models that just don’t meet the same standards as the rest of their products. But you should be able to find enough information about the particular Kingsdown or Restonic mattress model that you are looking at to know that you’re making a choice that you won’t regret.
