Contrary to popular belief, these systems shouldn’t be too expensive for most people as some units can be had for just around $50 a piece. Some home owners even choose to go for fake security camera units as they can be cheaper still. Some fake or dummy security camera units can be purchased for just below $5!

Perhaps the most effective strategy in improving home security is to not leave your home unoccupied for extended periods of time as most successful burglaries happen when there’s no one home and a huge percentage of that still happens because the doors and windows are accidentally left open or unlocked. Being a bit more aware and vigilant is certainly an effective measure that you can take and should decrease the chances of you falling victim to unlawful intent from a burglar or intruder.
