If you use Sprint as your cellular service provider, you will be interested in hearing about a very cool service that they have available for the customers. It’s called the Sprint Family Locator. This service will allow you to the track up to four people with their cell phones. There are some limitations with this service. The first is that the people you track must be in your family plan. You can’t simply call up Sprint and tell them that you would like to start tracking your ex girlfriends location with your cell phone.

Sprint charges a modest fee to use the cell phone tracker service. It’s only $5.00 and you can use the system as much as you want during the month. If you would like to give it a try to see if it’s something that is worth paying for, Sprint will allow you to try it out for free for 15 days. At the completion of those 15 days, you’ll probably want to stay with it and they will start billing you $5.00 a month.

This is a cool cell phone tracking service that Sprint offers. One of the nice things about this cell phone locator is that you don’t have to download or install any software onto your phone and order to be able to use it. Most free cell phone tracking applications require you to do this. They also require you to subscribe to a data plan with your cell phone service provider. Sprint does not require you to have a data plan so although you are paying $5.00 a month for the service, you are saving money by not being charged for data usage.

The service will work with any Sprint or Nextell cell phone. You don’t need a modern programmable smart phone in order to use the Sprint Family Locator. If you do have one of these modern programmable smart phones, Sprint has a free application that you can download and install on your phone which will enable you to track other phones in your tracking network directly from your cell phone.
