Wall Mounting a Flat Screen TV Saves Space

I have an extra bedroom and I want to set it up for a guest. I just painted it, so the next thing to do is buy a futon and then I was thinking about the TV. It would be nice to have a small TV in there but it’s not a big room, so wall mounting it seems to be a great option. It will have to be a flat screen, HDTV because I have an older TV but no HDTV converter for it, which makes it a good chance to upgrade to maybe a 37″ flat screen TV or smaller – probably Samsung since I’m a huge fan.

Wall mounting a TV can either be easy or hard. It seems to depend on how much planning and preparation you do. There are wall mounts that make doing the work really easy while others seem to be lacking in that area. The bracket that mounts to the wall should be easy to position and install. You also don’t want to have to hunt down a specific wall mount. There are many TV wall mounts that fit a wide range of TVs, so that’s the best kind to get. I really don’t want to have to try several different mounts and have to take each one back that doesn’t work. With restocking fess, I could really lose my shirt.

And you should decide on which kind of wall mount you want. Do you need it to tilt or tilt and swivel? Deluxe models let you position the TV in any position you want. I’ll probably just go with a tilting wall mount since it’s just the guest room. If I were using it in the living room, I’d go with a more deluxe model.

So if you do enough planning, see which models will work the best, then you can save time and money with your TV wall mount project. You can also find more tips on how to wall mount your flat screen TV.
