Liv dolls and Techdecks have several things in common they are both big hits this Christmas season. They are also both created by Spinmaster the toy company that is making huge strides with its innovative toy designs and ideas. They also come with tiny little accessories that are hard for older eyes and big fingers to manage.

Spinmaster is taking on the big toy manufacturers with their creative and elaborate toys. For instance they are the creators of Bakugan. Bakugan are simple little balls that have a magnet inside of them so that when they are rolled on cards containing a magnetic strip they open up into Bakugan creatures.

Sounds simple enough until you try to decipher the rules to the battles and all of the different creatures and their powers and which worlds they come from. They are also cartoons so if you watch the videos you can get a better idea of what is going on. There is also an elaborate website and it is a video game now too.

How complicated can dolls be. Well the liv dolls have their own virtual world where purchasers can enter if they have a code that comes with each doll. These dolls each have a unique talent and also a flaw because they are supposed to be more like real girls. They also have interchangeable wigs so that you can cut, color, style, and change their hair. They also come with tiny little fashion accessories.

One accessory they don’t come with is a skateboard. Even though the Katie liv doll is a skateboarder. Fortunately the techdeck skateboards are the perfect size to be Katies board. Techdecks are marketed as fingerboards and they have a grippy surface and smooth gliding wheels. There are many board designs and they also come with tiny little stickers and wheels you can change. Although if you change the wheels you run the risk of dropping the tiny little nut that holds the wheel in place.

The Liv Dolls and Techdecks are not only made by the same manufacturer and come with tiny parts. But they even meet when Katie needs a skateboard and techdecks are the perfect option.
